Who operates MyVaidya

MyVaidya is operated by Divyanshu, based in India. This policy covers information handled through the MyVaidya website and its wellness features. For privacy questions or requests, contact vaidya.insights@gmail.com.

Information the service handles

The information handled depends on the features you use. Wellbeing answers, allergies, concerns and conversations can be personal and sensitive. Share only what you want the service to use; you do not need to provide medical records or identification documents for the quiz.

  • Account information: email address, name and sign-in information provided through Google or email authentication.
  • Quiz and profile information: your selected goal, country and any city or preferences you supply, dosha results, dietary restrictions, allergies and other profile details.
  • Recent wellbeing: optional check-in answers about sleep, digestion, energy, feeling overwhelmed, schedule and recent changes.
  • Conversations and plans: messages, generated replies, information extracted from those conversations for personalisation, roadmap details, habit feedback and weekly check-ins.
  • Purchase information: payment/customer identifiers, membership status and related records needed to provide access and handle support. Payment card details are handled by the payment provider.
  • Operational information: campaign/source parameters supplied in links, and technical information such as IP address, browser details and error or access logs that infrastructure providers may process.

How information is used

Information is used to sign you in, save and retrieve your results, personalise the guidance you request, create and maintain plans, manage membership access, respond to support requests and keep the service operating.

Relevant profile details, recent check-in context and conversation text may be included in requests to the configured AI service to generate guidance. AI-generated profile interpretations can be incomplete or inaccurate; contact us if stored information needs correcting.

Contact information, campaign source, your selected goal and dosha-derived fields may also be used for contact management and personalised email communication through the email integration described below. A dosha result is not a medical diagnosis.

Service providers and disclosures

MyVaidya uses service providers to deliver the features you request. Relevant information is made available to them for their role. Provider configuration can change; contact us for details about the providers currently processing your information.

Information may also be disclosed where required by law or reasonably needed to investigate fraud, resolve payment disputes or protect the service and its users.

  • Supabase provides authentication and database storage for account-linked information.
  • Google processes information when you choose Google sign-in, under its own account and privacy terms.
  • The configured AI model provider processes relevant messages and profile context to generate responses. The application supports external AI services and locally hosted models; this policy does not promise that every request remains on MyVaidya infrastructure or is excluded from all provider retention.
  • Dodo Payments processes checkout, payment administration and related transaction information under its own terms and privacy practices. MyVaidya receives information needed to manage membership and support.
  • When the Loops email integration is enabled, it receives email address, name, source/campaign information, selected goal and dosha-derived fields for contact management and personalised email communication.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers support delivery, storage, operational logs and service security.

Browser storage, check-ins and retention

The application uses authentication cookies and browser localStorage. Before sign-in, a quiz draft can contain your result, country, goal and optional wellbeing answers. The sign-in resume flow accepts drafts for up to 24 hours; that limit is not a promise that every browser value is automatically deleted after 24 hours. Up to two selected everyday focuses are also stored in this browser to tailor result text and starter questions; these choices are not a diagnosis and are not synchronised between devices by this feature. Other browser values can remain until cleared or replaced.

The current-wellbeing feature stores the latest check-in snapshot in account metadata. A new check-in replaces that snapshot. The service treats a snapshot older than 14 days as stale for guidance; this does not delete the stored snapshot after 14 days. There is currently no complete check-in history chart.

Account-linked profile, conversation and plan records are retained to provide saved features and ongoing access. There is no single automatic deletion period for all records. You can request deletion using the contact details below. Some transaction, security, support or legal records may need to be retained for their relevant purpose or legal requirements, and provider logs or backups can follow separate retention schedules.

You can clear localStorage and cookies through your browser. Doing so can remove an unfinished quiz draft or require you to sign in again; it does not itself delete server-side account records.

Your choices and privacy requests

You can skip the optional recent-wellbeing check-in, choose not-sure answers, and avoid sharing details you do not want used in guidance. Some saved or personalised features require account information or relevant context to work.

Email vaidya.insights@gmail.com to request access, correction or deletion, ask about information sharing, raise a privacy complaint, or withdraw permission for a use where applicable. Send the request from the email linked to your account when possible. We may ask for reasonable verification of account ownership before acting; do not send passwords or payment card details.

To stop marketing emails or object to email personalisation, contact the same address. You can also use an unsubscribe link where one is included in a message. Essential account, payment or service messages may still be needed.

We will explain the action that can be taken and any information that must be retained. The rights and procedures available to you can depend on applicable law. This page does not replace any consent request or other notice required for a particular use of information.

Processing location and security

MyVaidya operates from India. Providers may process or store information in other countries, depending on their infrastructure and the configured service. Contact us if you need more information about a particular processing location.

The application uses authentication and access controls for account features. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Avoid sending passwords, full payment card numbers or unrelated sensitive documents in wellness conversations.

Children and other websites

MyVaidya is intended for adults. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so the account and information can be reviewed.

Links to educational references, sign-in services and payment pages may take you to other organisations. Their privacy notices describe how they handle information on those services.

Changes and contact

When this policy changes, the revised version and effective date will be posted here. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or email, where appropriate. A new policy does not by itself authorise a new use that requires separate consent.
